M-verkstan är en ideell studentförening på Linköpings Universitet som drivs av ca 20 st engagerade studenter som älskar att vara i verkstan . Vi finns till för studenter och anställda på Universitet genom att erbjuda en metallverkstad där det är fantasin som sätter gränserna. Oavsett om det är punktering på cykeln som behöver lagas, ett snyggt barbord som ska svetsas ihop eller bara en rymdfärja som ska byggas, hjälper vi gärna till.
We are open every Tuesday and Thursday during the studying periods. This means that you as a student or employee at Linköping University has access to the workshop har tillgång till verkstan between 17-21 and during opening hours verkare, members of the workshop, are on-site to assist you. We have most of the tools you would need and even sell things such as bycicle tubes, chains and metal.

Our Abene VHF3 mill offers, because of its rotatable and movable spindle, the ability for both horizontal and vertical milling. The spindle has 12 speeds ranging from 44 rpm to 2000 rpm. It also has a continous feed on all its three axis and is equipped with a pinol for drilling, indexing center and a digital scale.
TIG, MIG, GAS and MMA-welder combined with several different kinds of add-on materials means there's a possibility to weld the most common metals at our workshop.
