Cobra

The Cobra is a very special build. The most distinctive thing under the body is that the rear part of the chassis is sprung at the driver. If you look at the suspension, it “angles” the entire rear half of the chassis up.

In retrospect, it's kind of funny that we had a body sitting around for so long and were going to build something fun with it. But no one wants to change the body, because it's made of fiberglass. Then when we realized we were going to start a serious build, we started from scratch with the entire frame, and were careful not to change the body because that would involve a lot of work. But it still ended up, in the end, with us changing the body by extending it. It turned out to be less work than expected, but still quite a lot of work.

The Cobra was ready for SOF 2013 after the body had been in the workshop since 2009.
Jimmy Cederlöf was the one in charge during the construction and he was also the one who drove the Cobra at SOF 2015.
